Bealls Inc. Launches First-Ever National Brand Campaign To Expand Retail Reach
BRADENTON, Florida (FLAN 35) — Bealls Inc. has launched its first-ever national brand awareness campaign as the Florida-based retailer looks to introduce more shoppers across the country to its off-price shopping experience.
The campaign, titled “For the Haul of It,” debuted Oct. 6 and highlights the excitement of discovering name-brand merchandise, unexpected finds and value-priced products. The company operates more than 650 stores across 23 states under its bealls, Bealls Florida and Home Centric brands.
The initiative represents the company’s most significant brand awareness effort to date as it expands into new markets beyond its historical roots in Florida. The campaign emphasizes the experience of bargain hunting, presenting shopping as an opportunity to discover unexpected products rather than simply complete a purchase.
“For the Haul of It’ celebrates our guests and the joy they experience when they shop our stores,” said Leana Less, senior vice president of marketing at Bealls Inc.
The campaign features shoppers representing multiple generations and shopping styles, including bargain hunters, fashion enthusiasts, strategic planners and families seeking affordable merchandise.
Bealls plans to extend the platform throughout the year. In November, the company will introduce “Happy Haul-idays,” a holiday-themed version featuring a playful sing-along inspired by the familiar melody of “Jingle Bells.” The holiday campaign is designed to strengthen brand recognition and recall.
The marketing launch will also coincide with the activation of a new Bealls mobile app, part of the retailer’s broader strategy to improve customer engagement, loyalty and the connected shopping experience.
Founded in 1915 and headquartered in Bradenton, Florida, Bealls Inc. is a family-operated retailer led by fourth-generation Chairman and CEO Matt Beall. The company also operates online at bealls.comand beallsflorida.com.
As the retailer continues expanding nationally, the campaign is intended to increase visibility among consumers who may be encountering its brands for the first time.
